This 63,500-square-foot addition to the Mariners’ Museum includes a full-size steel replica of the Monitor. Immersive recreations of the Virginia, the Confederate’s ironclad, and the Monitor put visitor’s right into the battle. Hundreds of artifact are on display and now, recently, the actual turret was moved into place.
