Hudson Riverama
Hudson River Museum, Yonkers, NY
History and science of the upper, mid, and lower river were explored using a field notes stamp (orange unit in background), computer and hands-on interactives.
Diverse interpretive components combine to illuminate the Hudson River’s complex history and ecology, challenges to its vitality, and strategies for its stewardship. The 2,700-square-foot space was designed both as a public gallery and an environmental teaching gallery serving the 25,000 students that visit each year. Scott Guerin was the project principal and design director.
A 3D model of the watershed was the exhibit’s spine and was designed to support curriculum tie-ins.
