Alexander Jackson Davis: Designer of Dreams
Lyndhurst Manor, Tarrytown, NY
A.J. Davis has been said to been the Martha Stewart of his age in the mid 1800s. The exhibition displayed design drawings and furniture from many public and private collections.
SGP+D led the redesign and enhancement of Lyndhurst’s gallery space making improvements to their label rail system, walls, and lighting. To design the layout of the artifacts, a digital twin of the space was built and the works, at scale, were able to be organized and placed in context with each other.
